Did you know, that Cumberland Council has been selected by the Department for Education as one of the pilot areas for a scheme that is aimed at attracting new entrants to the early years sector.  New recruits will receive a £1,000 bonus shortly after they start their first role in childcare, or if they return to a childcare role after a gap of at least six months.
