Activities That Aid Development
As children start to explore the world around them in different ways, we further develop their knowledge of colours, numbers, active role-play, imaginative play and construction activities.
Sensory activities and fine motor skills are encouraged as well as lots of painting and drawing to develop early writing skills. Singing and story times are a fun part of the day and develop our children’s vocabulary while increasing their attention spans.
Encouraging Good Habits
Toothbrush time after lunch and tea is incorporated into our daily routine to help it become second nature. We also encourage regular hand washing. The age of two is a prime time for toilet training and we are here to support parents through the transition. Please let us know when you are considering training so we can help.
We have a minimum of 1 staff member to every 4 children to maintain our highest standards of care at all times.
