Encouraging Independence
Our pre-school room aims to prepare children for school by encouraging independence and further developing their educational skills.
Nevertheless, nursery is nursery and we still have lots of fun, play and activities to ensure your child’s memory of nursery is everlasting.
We explore numbers and letters in more depth. Recognising letters visually and matching the phonetic sound as well as name writing.

Confident Communication
We help your child gain confidence and independence in their ability to communicate with their peers and teachers about their wants and needs. We encourage children to help themselves as much as possible by self-dressing, going to the toilet and choosing which activities they would like to explore.
Toothbrush time after lunch and tea is incorporated into our daily routine to help it become second nature. We also encourage regular hand washing.
We have a minimum of 1 staff member to every 8 children to maintain our highest standards of care at all times.
